Founded and managed by Juergen Abel since 1982
The company, which operates today worldwide under the label B + A Luft- und Seefrachtspedition GmbH, was founded in 1982 by Hans Brand and Jürgen Abel.
Since 1.1.2012, B + A Luft- und Seefrachtspedition GmbH has been located in new business premises with extensive transshipment and storage facilities in the middle of Nuremberg’s traditional industrial area in the southern town, near the former Hercules factory.
A milestone in the development of B+A was – in addition to the handling of traditional air and sea freight shipments – especially the introduction of own consolidated containers from major logistics centers in Asia directly to Nuremberg – weekly! Since 1994, this has been practiced successfully. The advantages of this disposition variant have very quickly proved to be extremely competitive.
We have a worldwide network of first-class partners, providing seamless coverage not only for forwarding services to and from Asia, but also in the US, South and Central America, Australia and throughout Europe.
Constance is very important in the present time. This applies to our long-term business relationships with our customers as well as with our service providers, subcontractors and partners – in Germany as well as worldwide!
All this is behind it, if we say that we combine the experience of a multi-group with the individual, customer-related transport solution of an owner-managed medium-sized enterprise.
